First of two Caitlin posts, I was going to do it as one post, but it was pretty long that way...
Caitlin and (full!) band will return to the UK for a gig at XOYO and the rest of the 'Twisted Folk' tour up and down the country which takes place in just a month! Can't wait. Full dates.
Here is a recording of Caitlin's Social gig last week...
The sound is good in places but not in others, the venue's a little pokey basement and you can hear a fire exit door slam every few minutes and people clearly eager to go to the bar / loo rustling past the taper, but it's better than nothing and it's Caitlin Rose, so for me it's a must!
This show was the last date on her last UK tour which I saw six times, this one was without the band who had returned to the States by then, so is just Caitlin on Vocals / Guitar with Spencer on pedal steel...
That takes nothing away from it. As a solo performer Caitlin is talented, very talented.
She is as endearing as ever and is on typically amusing form.
