There's never not time for something as bright and lovely as this, the first song from Seattle trio Cumulus to come to my attention "Do You Remember" is an absolutely perfect listen as we approach the weekend and your mind flutters away to things a little bit more exciting than work.
They have the feeling they create with the track spot on themselves on their Facebook page, with the tag-line "indie pop fuzzy goodness". "Do You Remember" is exactly that, a catchy, guitar pop anthem that is beautiful and lifting, full of that rare form of bitter-sweet nostalgia that makes you want to turn back the clock (more than in my case) ten years and run around the school yard without a care in the world.
Their debut album I Never Meant It To Be Like This is out October 1st via Trans- Records. More of the same please.
