It feels like it's been ages since we've heard from Rose Elinor Dougall (it has, her debut album came out back in 2010) so it's good to finally hear a new track in the form of "Strange Warnings" which aired just before the weekend with the dual announcement of a free show at the Shacklewell Arms on August 14th.
It seems that it's the whole Dougall family who have been listening to some old pysch records as "Strange Warnings" combines Rose Elinor's beautifully warm vocals and knack of a perfect pop hook with a swirling sea of floating synth lines and a deliciously infectious beat - it works to perfection and the track might just top anything from Without Why.
