Towards the end of last year I gave a typically superlative filled review to Hills, a saccharine sweet surf pop band from Los Angeles who had just released their blissful self-titled debut LP (it's still available as a free download via their bandcamp).
Now they return with their first track since, the utterly bloody gorgeous "Would You Love Me", perfect for the shortening summer's nights with the irresistible vocals of Alisa Cacho-Sousa' melting hearts amongst a languid, ringing guitar intro which soon progresses to a toe-tapping beat as the track rises in urgency, swooning amongst a delicious melody and heavenly harmonies.
