Bandstand Busking was a great way to spend a sunny Bank Holiday Monday, even better given we got to see Caitlin Rose too. Above are a few pictures. Blogspot is terrible for pictures - it makes my amateur shots look even worse and makes a 2.5 meg photo 150k, if you want the full size pics let me know and I'll sort it out.
So after Chief had warmed up the audience we were treated to a short but wonderful performance on a (rare) sunshine filled August afternoon. Location, atmosphere, crowd (minus the ice cream van's engine) were all a dream match for Caitlin's wonderful voice.
No audio / video of the gig as it will be up in due course from the wonderful people at Bandstand Busking. Go there, bookmark the site and await the videos (and attend the next busk, they are always wonderful line-ups).
Caitlin played:
1. Learning To Ride
2. Sinful Wishing Well
3. Gorilla Man
4. New York City
5. Spare Me
I'm sure my series of Caitlin gigs will resume soon, I'm enjoying her wonderful music too much for it not to. If you haven't already, buy her music.
