Terminal Twilight - New Music "Introducing"

Facebook /

Terminal Twilight are a new find for me though they released their first EP back in 2009, with their debut album 'House of Love' due soon (pre-orders up from next week from their site) it might be time for the LA duo to break out to a wider audience...

The title tracks from their two current releases "Black and Blue" and "The Fire of Love" (a cover of a Jody Reynolds track apparently) are the perfect introduction to their moody blend of dark slow-motion electronica, minimalist brooding disco beats and icy cold vocals creating a sexy, smooth ambience that you'll want to get down and dirty to.

The late night stripped-down arrangements, understated male/female interplay vocals in "Air",  and sensual new wave influences remind me of some traits that made The xx successful and I'm sure the band would take 25% of their popularity!
I'm into this and am looking forward to giving the album a spin on release.
