Swedish sextet The Majority Says appear to have been around for a while now (with an EP dating back to 2011/12 available via their soundcloud) but came to my attention through the arrival of their latest track, the song I'm writing about here, landing in my inbox last week...
"Where Is The Line" is a genuinely beautiful song that burns with sentiment and leaves you with a warming sense of optimism despite it's repeated use of the words "tell me where's the end". Building from soft, fragile beginnings, the complimenting whispers of lead vocalist Hanna Antonsson and male harmonisations beguile as the track progresses with cinematic, rousing instrumentation which grows in strength to reach a wonderful climatic finale of soaring guitar and piano chords. A quite brilliant introduction here.
The track is taken from The Majority Says' forthcoming EP Between Love and Simple Friends released December 6th in Germany.
