The Sandwitches - New Music "Introducing"

Facebook

The Sandwitches are an all girl trio from San Francisco who recently released their second album 'Mrs Jones' Cookies' State-side. The girls seems to have completely been passed over in the UK, I'm not too sure why've not been discovered here yet, from the tracks I've heard their gorgeous sprinkling of lo-fi garage psychedelia would fit in perfectly.

On tracks like "Back to the Sea" from their 2009 debut and the more recent "Joe Says" the girls show soulful, blissed-out atmospheric vibe which is utterly delightful. A playful, breezy 60's girl-group doo-wop's sound, with subtle twanging guitars and gorgeous bluesy melodies.

"Black Rider" possesses a more haunting, sinister tinge whereas "Lightfoot" and "Summer of Love" (unbelievably) are lovable and romantic, with the girls' gorgeous harmonies, perfect for a lackadaisical summers stroll, The Sandwitches can do nothing but improve your mood.

You can order 'Mrs Jones' Cookies' here.
